Sorry about the last post! Things are better now, but I feel I’m still not doing enough.
Some pictures for this new game are much overdue. Let me see what I can do...

It’s a little crushing to go back and look at the pictures I had of the game when it was 1 month in development, because if you put the new next to the old... there’s seemingly very little difference.

That certainly isn’t the case though, but to the outsider looking in, I’d imagine a thought similar to “What the fuck has he done in the last 11 months?” would enter their head...

In the 7 days, I have started and finished all the Piggymon cards, which is very good going, despite a very obvious laziness on my behalf...

What are Piggymon cards I hear you ask? Well, when I was 10 or 11, Pokémon cards and other trading cards were all the rage, so me and Rich thought it would be nice to add these hidden package-esque items into the game.

There are 50 of them in total, and instead of cards depicting weird Japanese mutant freak animals (some of which were made of rocks or magma, that’s just silly), they will display a guineapig. Yes, a guinea pig.

By the way, if you’re curious as to what the GP stands for in GP Studios, well... the answer is guinea pig. Weird, I know, but GP Studios was spawned in my very first attempt at animating, where a guinea pig flies through the air, and slices its belly on a splintered piece of wood, displaying the words “GP Studios” or “A GP Studios Production”, which thinking back on it is absolutely ridiculous. That’s like Walt Disney drawing a cock on a napkin at the age of 7 and plastering that amazing signature of his in the bottom left...

Sorry, I digressed a little there...

The plan is that these cards will be used to buy extras, much in the same way that trophies buy extras in Bunny Invasion 2 and Easter Special.

There are missions attached to some of them, like cleaning up frogs, flushing disturbing drawings down the toilet, stealing from people, finding food for a tubby boy, or some are locked in safes, lockers, hidden under floorboards, buried in the sports field, in plant pots, in locked hidden rooms... Mmm, yes it’s a very nice addition to the game.

Other news: I’ve set up a youtube channel for the site, check it out here or here.

The reason for the 2 channels is because Dave set one up quite a while back which I wasn’t aware of, but the new channel I set up looks nice... so I guess I’ll just copy those vids over to the old account and ditch the new one. Anyway, I’ve uploaded a video that I made a long time ago, starring the first incarnation of Mr Frost.

I wrote quite a nice description I wrote for for the vid, so here it is:

This is a short movie I made almost 5 years ago.

This was one of the last animations I made before I went on to create games.

I think I created Mr Frost back in early 2005. Well I didn't create him exactly. He was a teacher at my school.

The idea for The Incredible Mr Frost was spawned when I was once handed a note in class during one of his lessons, which had written on it 'Mr Frost Is A Wanker!' with a drawing of Mr Frost below, naked.

I found this very funny at the time, so I took the piece of paper home and drew my own version of Mr Frost.

Interesting? I think I wrote something like this in one of the Bunny Invasion 2 extras, but I’d imagine most people reading this won’t be aware that Mr. Frost is a real person.

There we go, a nice long news post. I really would like to post more often but there’s usually nothing important to post about...
I’ll see if I can get something else up one week from now.

Also, if you’re experiencing any problems with posting comments or anything similar, let me know. We’ve had a couple people say they can’t post comments, but we’ve never experienced this problem ourselves so it’s very hard to investigate.

Until next time... Enjoy.
