We've recently sponsored another game called Tree Of Life.
Before you start asking, no - this has nothing to do with Terrence Malick's recent film with the weird bit about the dinosaurs. It just happens to have the same name.
Instead, it's a great little puzzle game with some pleasingly tricky situations to work your way out of. It went live on Newgrounds and Kongregate earlier today.
Please play it and rate highly!

I can guarantee it's better than the film! (of which it has no relation to... although now I think about it, the intro may have some deeper spiritual meaning than I first thought... like the bit with the dinosaurs.)
If you're reading this Mr Malick / Mr Pitt / Mr Penn, I am sorry. I'm making fun of your efforts despite having not seen the film... But from what I've heard, the bit with the dinosaurs is really weird.
Keeping on the subject of films, I just watched To Kill A Mockingbird. I enjoyed it a lot. It made me feel clever noticing the many subtexts that were subtly placed throughout the film.
However, my enjoyment of the ending was slightly spoiled, when for some reason I started thinking of another movie... an entirely different movie in every possible way.
As soon as the movie ended, with my iPhone I googled the term 'Man eating brains with spoon' to find the movie I was thinking of.
Bingo, the film I was remembering was one appropriately called 'Bad Taste'.
So, when I should have been pondering the meaning behind the iconic film, instead I was watching youtube clips like this:
My memory of the scene was in some ways scarier, but watching it now, I realise it's scarier than I could ever have imagined... The man eating the brains is a young Peter Jackson, director of the Lord of the Rings trilogy. This film is his directing and acting film debut.
My memory of the film stems from about 11 years ago, when I was about 10 years old, watching it late one night on the telly.
All I remember is the brain eating bit and the awful music. It stuck with me.
...Anyway, I just thought it'd be nice to show you Peter Jackson eating some brains.
Proof if proof be needed that he is not the amazing film director people make him out to be.
Remember, check out Tree of Life (not that one.)
